This is the city that raised me.

Here, I will never be alone.

This city is mi abuela,

Mi mama, mi hermano, mi familia.

It’s the breath in my lungs,

The blood in my veins.

Unfaltering, unhesitating, unwavering,

Nothing stands in our way.

This city that raised us,

Is the city that made us

Fighters, champions, warriors.

Individually we stand for our city

But together we represent our culture.

Una familia.

This isn’t our first time at bat,

And it won’t be our last.

Soon you’ll see.

Together, we will rise.
